A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in July 2023 By The Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited (TCGL) and Worldwide Media Pvt Ltd (A Times Group Company) To Host The 69th Filmfare Awards.
Time Group Managing Director Vineet Jain And Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel Were Present At The Memorandum Of Understanding Signing Ceremony.
At The Event, Actor Tiger Shroff Spoke On Behalf Of The Hindi Film Industry And Discussed His Unique Bond With Gujarat.
“Because My Grandfather Was From Gujarat, I Have A Unique Bond With The State. Speaking Of Filmfare, I Have A Wonderful Rapport With This Awards Ceremony. It Was In 1990 When I Went To My First Filmfare Awards. I Started Going To The Filmfare Awards Ceremony When My Father, Jackie Shroff, Won The Best Actor Award That Year. Additionally, I Had The Chance To Perform At Multiple Editions,” Tiger Remarked.
“This Is Going To Be A Really Wonderful Opportunity. “We Are Grateful To Gujarat’s Chief Minister For Welcoming Filmfare And The Film Industry Into His Home,” He Continued.
