Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 3: PM Modi Casts Vote in Ahmedabad
Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast his ballot for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 at Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, as voting for the third phase of the elections began on Tuesday morning.
urging everyone taking part in today’s voting phase to cast a record number of ballots. In an X post, PM Modi stated, “Their active participation will definitely make the elections more vibrant.”
Today at seven in the morning, the third round of Lok Sabha elections began, with 93 constituencies spread over 11 states and Union Territories. Voters are allowed to cast ballots at 1.85 lakh polling places for this round, numbering 17.24 crore.
There will be polls for twenty-five seats in Gujarat (BJP candidate Mukesh Dalal won the Surat Lok Sabha seat without opposition), fourteen seats in Karnataka, eleven seats in Maharashtra, ten seats in Uttar Pradesh, nine seats in Madhya Pradesh, seven seats in Chhattisgarh, five seats in Bihar, four seats in West Bengal and Assam, and two seats each in Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Man and Diu.
