Mallick Served As The State’s Former Minister Of Food. He Was Questioned For Over Twenty Hours Before Being Taken Into Custody Early This Morning.
He Told The Media That He Was The Victim Of A Plot In Response. Crpf Jawans And Ed Officers Picked Up Mallick From His Salt Lake House And Brought Him To The Ed Office At The Cgo Complex.
The Case Alleged Corruption In The Distribution Of Ration While Mallick Was Serving As The Food Minister. Ed Raided Eight Houses Including Those Of Mallick And His Associates. Sources Said Ed Is Probing Mallick’s Links With Recently Arrested Businessman Bakibur Rahman.
