Centre Launches Web Platform Meri Maati Mera Desh” In Honour To Bravehearts
Following The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign To Commemorate India’s 75th Anniversary Of Independence Day Last Year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Announced The Beginning Of The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ Campaign To Recognize India’s Brave Soldiers During His 103 Mann Ki Baat.
The Ministry Of Culture, Ministry Of Youth Affairs, And Ministry Of Sports Are Taking The Initiative. The Centre Worked With The Tech-Experienced Business Tagbin To Develop A Website Platform For “Jan Bhagidari” (Collective Participation). The Initiative Also Signifies The Conclusion Of The “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” Which Honours India’s 75th Anniversary Of Independence. The Platform Is Expected To Launch On August 9 And Run Through August 30 Of 2023.
The ‘Take Pledge’ Feature Of The Platform, Which Requires Four Steps—Personal Information, Sapling Planting, Reciting The Amrit Kaal Pledge, And Sharing A Selfie With Soil Or An Earthen Lamp—Will Promote Participation. Users Receive A Shareable Certificate After Finishing, And Their Photos Are Kept In A Central Database For Use On The Pledge Page.
Users Can Also Design Digital Monuments In Honour Of National “Veers” That Will Be Installed In Communities As A Sign Of Allegiance. 2.5 Lakh Gramme Panchayats (Village Councils) Will Be Able To Upload Pictures To The Platform, Which Also Enables Nodal Officers To Monitor The Status Of Campaigns In Real Time. On An Interactive Map, Users Can Explore Events Across Panchayats, Blocks, And States.
“The Foundation For Our Newest Endeavour, “Meri Maati Mera Desh,” Was Laid By Our Earlier Successes, Including The More Than 2.5 Crore Videos Uploaded During Rashtragaan And The More Than Six Crore Selfies Taken In Har Ghar Tiranga. This Platform Brings Our Entire Country Together Because Of Our Belief In The Unifying And Inspiring Potential Of Technology And Innovation “Says Tagbin’s Creator Saurav Bhaik.
