As Per The National Space Agency, Chandrayaan-3 Had Completed Its Orbits Of The Earth And Was Now Heading Towards The Moon, According To PTI. According To ISRO, The Next Stop For The Spacecraft Will Be The “Moon”. A Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) Is Expected On August 5.
ISTRAC Successfully Conducted A Perigee Firing (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking, And Command Network). The Spacecraft Has Been Placed Into A Translunar Orbit By ISRO, The Statement Said.
According To An ISRO Official Who Spoke To PTI, The Chandrayaan-3 Spacecraft Left The Earth’s Orbit After The Trans-Lunar Injection (TLI) And Is Now Travelling In The Direction Of The Moon. To Put It Simply, The Spacecraft Started Heading Towards The Moon On Tuesday.
The Lander Is Scheduled To Attempt A Soft Landing On The Lunar Surface On August 23. The Term “Earth-Bound Perigee Firing” Describes An Orbit-Raising Manoeuvre Carried Out By A Spacecraft At Earth’s Perigee, Or The Planet’s Farthest Point In Its Orbit.
