In a thrilling super over in Texas, the USA shocked the world by defeating Pakistan, the defending champions of the T20 World Cup.
Pakistan scored just 13 runs in the Super Over despite needing 19 runs off 6 balls. Mohammad Amir of Pakistan bowled three wides in the Super Over that proved to be crucial in determining the game’s result. After both teams scored 159 runs in their 20 overs, the game headed to the Super Over.
