An important turning point in India’s road infrastructure was reached when Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the 19-kilometer elevated portion of the Dwarka Expressway.
With Eight Lanes And Several Cutting-Edge Features Designed To Improve Connectivity And Traffic Efficiency, The Road Is The Widest To Be Built On A Single Pier.
The Road Would Connect Directly Between The Indira Gandhi International Airport In Delhi And The Gurugram Bypass, Cutting Down On The 20-Minute Trip Between Dwarka And Gurgaon. The Dwarka Expressway’s Gurgaon Segment Is Estimated To Have Cost Rs 4,100 Crore.

Delhi And Gurugram Are Connected By The Recently Built Dwarka Expressway. It Is Split Into Four Segments, The First Two Of Which Are In Delhi And The Third And Fourth Of Which Are In Gurugram, At A Construction Cost Of ₹9,000 Crore. The Road Is A National First Since It Is Grade-Separated, Fully Access-Controlled, And Has Fourteen Lanes. It Starts In Shiv Murti, Which Is Close To Mahipalpur, And Ends At Kherki Daula, Which Is Close To The National Highway. It Is Around 29 Kilometers Long.
The Dwarka Expressway Will Begin With An Interchange That Includes Two Underpasses And An Elevated Corridor. The Expressway Aims To Reduce Traffic Congestion, Decrease Productivity Losses Due To Traffic Jams And Minimize Vehicular Pollution In The Delhi NCR Region, Where Over 3 Lakh Vehicles Pass Through NH 48 Every Day, According To Government Data.
